My fascination with the projected image
in its many forms has spanned most of my life. It has the power
to illuminate the hidden corners of our world and bring into focus
things we fear. It can move us, wake us up, and bring us together.
The projector is the modern camp fire, where songs are sung, and
stories are told. Here you'll find a bit of my story around the
fire. |

Kompakt /
Rephlex Show w Miss Kittin
Held at Volume in Brooklyn. For this massive space, I was asked
to fill the room with amazing visuals to accompany Miss
Kittin and Kompakt
Records. I invited the best visualists I know to join me, including
Giles Hendrix,
Dan Vatsky, and
Josh Goldberg. The Village
Voice called it one of the best dance party events in New York
in years.

Burning Man
2004
Working with the camp Imagenode,
we set out to create an interactive performance and light-art camp
at Burning Man in 2004. For 17 people to create four structures,
connected with tunnels, that we live and perform in for a week,
was an amazing undertaking! View

Burning Man
2003
With at least three projects I created for Burning Man this year,
it was a crazy busy setup, with huge successes. The Reorient camp,
where I wrapped projections 360 degrees around a 40' geodesic dome,
visible to the 30000+ people that attended the event, was stunning.
Also my kinetic bike light, the mylar kalidascopes, and costumes,
what a year! View
